1 Corinthians 5

1ActuallyὍλωςis reportedἀκούεταιamongἐνyouὑμῖνsexual immoralityπορνεία,andκαὶsuchτοιαύτηsexual immoralityπορνείαasἥτιςnot evenοὐδὲamongἐνtheτοῖςpagansἔθνεσιν,so as forὥστε[the] wifeγυναῖκάoneτιναof theτοῦfatherπατρὸςto haveἔχειν.

2Andκαὶyouὑμεῖςpuffed upπεφυσιωμένοιareἐστέ,andκαὶnotοὐχὶratherμᾶλλονhave mournedἐπενθήσατε,so thatἵναmight be takenἀρθῇout ofἐκmidstμέσουof youὑμῶνthe [one]ὁtheτὸdeedἔργονthisτοῦτοhaving doneποιήσας;

3IἘγὼindeedμὲνthoughγάρ,being absentἀπὼντῷin bodyσώματιbeing presentπαρὼνnowδὲτῷin spiritπνεύματι,alreadyἤδηhave judgedκέκρικαasὡςbeing presentπαρὼνthe [one]τὸνsoοὕτωςthisτοῦτοhaving producedκατεργασάμενον

4inἐνtheτῷnameὀνόματιof theτοῦLordκυρίουourἡμῶνJesusἸησοῦ,having been gathered togetherσυναχθέντωνyouὑμῶνandκαὶτοῦof meἐμοῦin spiritπνεύματοςwithσὺνtheτῇpowerδυνάμειof theτοῦLordκυρίουof usἡμῶνJesusἸησοῦ,

5to deliverπαραδοῦναιτὸνsuch a oneτοιοῦτοντῷto SatanΣατανᾷforεἰςdestructionὄλεθρονof theτῆςfleshσαρκός,so thatἵναtheτὸspiritπνεῦμαmay be savedσωθῇinἐνtheτῇdayἡμέρᾳof theτοῦLordκυρίου.

6NotΟὐgood [is]καλὸνtheτὸboastingκαύχημαof youὑμῶν.Notοὐκknow youοἴδατεthatὅτιa littleμικρὰleavenζύμηallὅλονtheτὸlumpφύραμαleavensζυμοῖ;

7Cleanse outἐκκαθάρατεtheτὴνoldπαλαιὰνleavenζύμην,thatἵναyou may beἦτεa newνέονlumpφύραμα,asκαθώςyou areἐστεunleavenedἄζυμοι.AlsoκαὶforγὰρtheτὸPassover lambπάσχαof usἡμῶνhas been sacrificedἐτύθηChristΧριστός·

8so thatὥστεwe might celebrate the feastἑορτάζωμεν,notμὴwithἐνleavenζύμῃoldπαλαιᾷnotμηδὲwithἐνleavenζύμῃof maliceκακίαςandκαὶwickednessπονηρίας,butἀλλ’withἐνunleavened [bread]ἀζύμοιςof sincerityεἰλικρινείαςandκαὶof truthἀληθείας.

9I wroteἜγραψαto youὑμῖνinἐνtheτῇletterἐπιστολῇnotμὴto associate withσυναναμίγνυσθαιthe sexually immoralπόρνοις,

10notοὐaltogetherπάντωςwith theτοῖςsexually immoralπόρνοιςtheτοῦworldκόσμουof thisτούτουorἢwith theτοῖςcovetousπλεονέκταιςandκαὶswindlersἅρπαξινorἢidolatersεἰδωλολάτραις,sinceἐπεὶyou would needὠφείλετεthenἄραfromἐκtheτοῦworldκόσμουto departἐξελθεῖν.

11NowνῦνhoweverδὲI wroteἔγραψαto youὑμῖνnotμὴto associate with [him]συναναμίγνυσθαιifἐάνanyoneτιςa brotherἀδελφὸςbeing designatedὀνομαζόμενοςhe isᾖsexually immoralπόρνοςorἢa coveterπλεονέκτηςorἢan idolaterεἰδωλολάτρηςorἢverbal abuserλοίδοροςorἢa drunkardμέθυσοςorἢswindlerἅρπαξ,withτῷsuch a oneτοιούτῳnot evenμηδὲto eatσυνεσθίειν.

12Whatτίforγάρ[is it] to meμοιthoseτοὺςoutsideἔξωto judgeκρίνειν;Notοὐχὶthoseτοὺςwithinἔσωyouὑμεῖςdo judgeκρίνετε,

13ThoseτοὺςhoweverδὲoutsideἔξωὁGodθεὸςwill judgeκρίνει;Expelἐξάρατεtheτὸνevilπονηρὸνout fromἐξyourselvesὑμῶνthatαὐτῶν.
