Revelation 16

1AndΚαὶI heardἤκουσα[a] loudμεγάληςvoiceφωνῆςfromἐκtheτοῦtempleναοῦsayingλεγούσηςto theτοῖςsevenἑπτὰangelsἀγγέλοις·GoὙπάγετεandκαὶpour outἐκχέετεtheτὰςsevenἑπτὰbowlsφιάλαςof theτοῦwrathθυμοῦτοῦof Godθεοῦintoεἰςtheτὴνearthγῆν.

2AndΚαὶdepartedἀπῆλθενtheὁfirstπρῶτοςandκαὶpoured outἐξέχεενtheτὴνbowlφιάληνof himαὐτοῦintoεἰςtheτὴνearthγῆν·andκαὶcameἐγένετοa soreἕλκοςevilκακὸνandκαὶgrievousπονηρὸνuponἐπὶtheτοὺςmenἀνθρώπουςτοὺςhavingἔχονταςtheτὸmarkχάραγμαof theτοῦbeastθηρίουandκαὶthoseτοὺςworshipingπροσκυνοῦνταςtheτῇimageεἰκόνιof itαὐτοῦ.

3AndΚαὶtheὁsecondδεύτεροςpoured outἐξέχεενtheτὴνbowlφιάληνof himαὐτοῦintoεἰςtheτὴνseaθάλασσαν·andκαὶit becameἐγένετοbloodαἷμαasὡςof [one] deadνεκροῦ,andκαὶeveryπᾶσαsoulψυχὴlivingζωῆςdiedἀπέθανενthat wasτὰinἐνtheτῇseaθαλάσσῃ.

4AndΚαὶtheὁthirdτρίτοςpoured outἐξέχεενtheτὴνbowlφιάληνof himαὐτοῦintoεἰςtheτοὺςriversποταμοὺςandκαὶtheτὰςspringsπηγὰςof theτῶνwatersὑδάτων·andκαὶthey becameἐγένετοbloodαἷμα.

5AndκαὶI heardἤκουσαtheτοῦangelἀγγέλουof theτῶνwatersὑδάτωνsayingλέγοντος·RighteousΔίκαιοςare Youεἶ,the [One]ὁbeingὢνandκαὶὁhaving beenἦν,Oὁholy Oneὅσιος,becauseὅτιthese thingsταῦταYou have judgedἔκρινας,

6becauseὅτι[the] bloodαἷμαof saintsἁγίωνandκαὶof prophetsπροφητῶνthey have poured outἐξέχεαν,andκαὶbloodαἷμαto themαὐτοῖςYou have givenδέδωκαςto drinkπιεῖν·worthyἄξιοίthey areεἰσιν.

7AndκαὶI heardἤκουσαtheτοῦaltarθυσιαστηρίουsayingλέγοντος·YesΝαί,Lordκύριε,ὁGodθεός,ὁAlmightyπαντοκράτωρ,trueἀληθιναὶandκαὶrighteous [are]δίκαιαιtheαἱjudgmentsκρίσειςof Youσου.

8AndΚαὶtheὁfourthτέταρτοςpoured outἐξέχεενtheτὴνbowlφιάληνof himαὐτοῦuponἐπὶtheτὸνsunἥλιον·andκαὶthere was givenἐδόθηto itαὐτῷto scorchκαυματίσαιτοὺςmenἀνθρώπουςwithἐνfireπυρί.

9Andκαὶwere scorchedἐκαυματίσθησανtheοἱmenἄνθρωποιwith heatκαῦμαgreatμέγα·andκαὶthey cursedἐβλασφήμησανtheτὸnameὄνοματοῦof Godθεοῦthe [One]τοῦhavingἔχοντοςτὴνauthorityἐξουσίανoverἐπὶtheτὰςplaguesπληγὰςtheseταύτας,andκαὶnotοὐdid they repentμετενόησανto giveδοῦναιHimαὐτῷgloryδόξαν.

10AndΚαὶtheὁfifthπέμπτοςpoured outἐξέχεενtheτὴνbowlφιάληνof himαὐτοῦuponἐπὶtheτὸνthroneθρόνονof theτοῦbeastθηρίου·andκαὶbecameἐγένετοtheἡkingdomβασιλείαof itαὐτοῦdarkenedἐσκοτωμένη,andκαὶthey were gnawingἐμασῶντοtheτὰςtonguesγλώσσαςof themαὐτῶνforἐκtheτοῦdistressπόνου,

11andκαὶthey cursedἐβλασφήμησανtheτὸνGodθεὸνofτοῦheavenοὐρανοῦon account ofἐκtheτῶνdistressesπόνωνof themαὐτῶνandκαὶon account ofἐκtheτῶνsoresἑλκῶνof themαὐτῶν,andκαὶnotοὐthey did repentμετενόησανofἐκtheτῶνworksἔργωνof themαὐτῶν.

12AndΚαὶtheὁsixthἕκτοςpoured outἐξέχεενtheτὴνbowlφιάληνof himαὐτοῦuponἐπὶtheτὸνriverποταμὸντὸνgreatμέγανtheτὸνEuphratesΕὐφράτην·andκαὶwas dried upἐξηράνθηtheτὸwaterὕδωρof itαὐτοῦ,so thatἵναmight be preparedἑτοιμασθῇtheἡwayὁδὸςof theτῶνkingsβασιλέωντῶνof theἀπὸrisingἀνατολῆςof the sunἡλίου.

13AndκαὶI saw [coming]εἶδονout ofἐκtheτοῦmouthστόματοςof theτοῦdragonδράκοντοςandκαὶout ofἐκtheτοῦmouthστόματοςof theτοῦbeastθηρίουandκαὶout ofἐκtheτοῦmouthστόματοςof theτοῦfalse prophetψευδοπροφήτουspiritsπνεύματαthreeτρίαuncleanἀκάθαρταlikeὡςfrogsβάτραχοι·

14they areεἰσὶνforγὰρspiritsπνεύματαof demonsδαιμονίωνperformingποιοῦνταsignsσημεῖα,whichἃgo forthἐκπορεύεταιtoἐπὶtheτοὺςkingsβασιλεῖςof theτῆςinhabited [world]οἰκουμένηςwholeὅλης,to gather togetherσυναγαγεῖνthemαὐτοὺςuntoεἰςtheτὸνbattleπόλεμονof theτῆςdayἡμέραςτῆςgreatμεγάληςτοῦof GodθεοῦtheτοῦAlmightyπαντοκράτορος—

15BeholdἸδοὺI am comingἔρχομαιlikeὡςa thiefκλέπτης.Blessed [is]μακάριοςthe [one]ὁwatchingγρηγορῶνandκαὶkeepingτηρῶνtheτὰgarmentsἱμάτιαof himαὐτοῦ,so thatἵναnotμὴnakedγυμνὸςhe should walkπεριπατῇandκαὶthey might seeβλέπωσινtheτὴνshameἀσχημοσύνηνof himαὐτοῦ—

16Andκαὶhe gathered togetherσυνήγαγενthemαὐτοὺςuntoεἰςtheτὸνplaceτόποντὸνcalledκαλούμενονin HebrewἙβραϊστὶArmageddonἉρμαγεδών.

17AndΚαὶtheὁseventhἕβδομοςpoured outἐξέχεενtheτὴνbowlφιάληνof himαὐτοῦuponἐπὶtheτὸνairἀέρα—andκαὶcame outἐξῆλθενa voiceφωνὴloudμεγάληfromἐκtheτοῦtempleναοῦfromἀπὸtheτοῦthroneθρόνουsayingλέγουσα·It is doneΓέγονεν—

18Andκαὶthere wereἐγένοντοflashes of lightningἀστραπαὶandκαὶvoicesφωναὶandκαὶthundersβρονταί,andκαὶan earthquakeσεισμὸςthere wasἐγένετοgreatμέγας,such asοἷοςnotοὐκhad there beenἐγένετοsinceἀφ’οὗmenἄνθρωποιcame into beingἐγένοντοuponἐπὶtheτῆςearthγῆςso greatτηλικοῦτος[was the] earthquakeσεισμὸςsoοὕτωmightyμέγας,

19Andκαὶwas [split]ἐγένετοtheἡcityπόλιςἡgreatμεγάληintoεἰςthreeτρίαpartsμέρη,andκαὶtheαἱcitiesπόλειςof theτῶνnationsἐθνῶνfellἔπεσαν·andκαὶBabylonΒαβυλὼνtheἡgreatμεγάληwas rememberedἐμνήσθηbeforeἐνώπιοντοῦGodθεοῦto giveδοῦναιherαὐτῇtheτὸcupποτήριονof theτοῦwineοἴνουof theτοῦfuryθυμοῦtheτῆςwrathὀργῆςof Himαὐτοῦ·

20Andκαὶeveryπᾶσαislandνῆσοςfledἔφυγεν,andκαὶmountainsὄρηnotοὐχwere to be foundεὑρέθησαν.

21Andκαὶa hailχάλαζαgreatμεγάληaboutὡςa talent weightταλαντιαίαcomes downκαταβαίνειout ofἐκτοῦheavenοὐρανοῦuponἐπὶtheτοὺςmenἀνθρώπους·AndκαὶblasphemedἐβλασφήμησανtheοἱmenἄνθρωποιτὸνGodθεὸνon account ofἐκtheτῆςplagueπληγῆςof theτῆςhailχαλάζης,forὅτιsevereμεγάληisἐστὶνtheἡplagueπληγὴof itαὐτῆςexceedinglyσφόδρα.
