Revelation 2
1To theΤῷmessengerἀγγέλῳof theτῆςinἐνEphesusἘφέσῳchurchἐκκλησίαςwriteγράψον·These thingsΤάδεsaysλέγειthe [One]ὁholdingκρατῶνtheτοὺςsevenἑπτὰstarsἀστέραςinἐνtheτῇright handδεξιᾷof Himαὐτοῦ,ὁwalkingπεριπατῶνinἐν[the] midstμέσῳof theτῶνsevenἑπτὰlampstandsλυχνιῶντῶνgoldenχρυσῶν·
2I knowΟἶδαtheτὰworksἔργαof youσου,andκαὶtheτὸνlaborκόπονandκαὶτὴνenduranceὑπομονήνof youσου,andκαὶthatὅτιnotοὐyou are ableδύνῃto tolerateβαστάσαιevil [ones]κακούς,Andκαὶyou have testedἐπείρασαςthoseτοὺςclaimingλέγονταςto beἑαυτοὺςapostlesἀποστόλους,andκαὶnotοὐκareεἰσίν,andκαὶyou have foundεὗρεςthemαὐτοὺςfalseψευδεῖς·
3Andκαὶperseveranceὑπομονὴνyou haveἔχεις,andκαὶhave enduredἐβάστασαςfor the sake ofδιὰtheτὸnameὄνομάof Meμου,andκαὶnotοὐhave grown wearyκεκοπίακες.
4ButἀλλὰI haveἔχωagainstκατὰyouσοῦthatὅτιtheτὴνloveἀγάπηνof youσουτὴνfirstπρώτηνyou have abandonedἀφῆκες.
5Rememberμνημόνευεthereforeοὖνfrom whereπόθενyou have fallenπέπτωκας,andκαὶrepentμετανόησονandκαὶtheτὰfirstπρῶταworksἔργαdoποίησον·Ifεἰhoweverδὲnotμή,I am comingἔρχομαίto youσοι,andκαὶI will removeκινήσωtheτὴνlampstandλυχνίανof youσουout ofἐκtheτοῦplaceτόπουof itαὐτῆς,ifἐὰνnotμὴyou should repentμετανοήσῃς.
6Butἀλλὰthisτοῦτοyou haveἔχειςthatὅτιyou hateμισεῖςtheτὰworksἔργαof theτῶνNicolaitansΝικολαϊτῶν,whichἃI alsoκἀγὼhateμισῶ.
7The [one]ὁhavingἔχωνan earοὖςlet him hearἀκουσάτωwhatτίtheτὸSpiritπνεῦμαsaysλέγειto theταῖςchurchesἐκκλησίαις.To the [one]τῷovercomingνικῶντιI will giveδώσωto himαὐτῷto eatφαγεῖνofἐκtheτοῦtreeξύλουτῆςof lifeζωῆς,whichὅisἐστινinἐνtheτῷparadiseπαραδείσῳτοῦof Godθεοῦ.
8AndΚαὶto theτῷmessengerἀγγέλῳofτῆςinἐνSmyrnaΣμύρνῃthe churchἐκκλησίαςwriteγράψον·These thingsΤάδεsaysλέγειtheὁFirstπρῶτοςandκαὶtheὁLastἔσχατος,whoὃςbecameἐγένετοdeadνεκρὸςandκαὶcame to lifeἔζησεν·
9I knowΟἶδάyourσουτὴνtribulationθλῖψινandκαὶτὴνpovertyπτωχείαν,butἀλλὰrichπλούσιοςyou areεἶ,andκαὶtheτὴνslanderβλασφημίανofἐκthoseτῶνclaimingλεγόντωνJewsἸουδαίουςto beεἶναιthemselvesἑαυτούς,andκαὶnotοὐκareεἰσίν,butἀλλὰa synagogueσυναγωγὴτοῦof SatanΣατανᾶ.
10notμηδὲνfearφοβοῦwhatἃyou are aboutμέλλειςto sufferπάσχειν.Beholdἰδοὺis aboutμέλλειto castβάλλεινtheὁdevilδιάβολος[some] ofἐξyouὑμῶνintoεἰςprisonφυλακὴνso thatἵναyou might be testedπειρασθῆτε,andκαὶyou shall haveἕξετεtribulationθλῖψινdaysἡμερῶνtenδέκα.Beγίνουfaithfulπιστὸςuntoἄχριdeathθανάτου,andκαὶI will giveδώσωto youσοιtheτὸνcrownστέφανοντῆςof lifeζωῆς.
11The [one]ὁhavingἔχωνan earοὖςlet him hearἀκουσάτωwhatτίtheτὸSpiritπνεῦμαsaysλέγειto theταῖςchurchesἐκκλησίαις.The [one]ὁovercomingνικῶνnoοὐnotμὴshall be injuredἀδικηθῇbyἐκtheτοῦdeathθανάτουτοῦsecondδευτέρου.
12AndΚαὶtoτῷ[the] messengerἀγγέλῳof theτῆςinἐνPergamumΠεργάμῳchurchἐκκλησίαςwriteγράψον·These thingsΤάδεsaysλέγειthe [One]ὁhavingἔχωνtheτὴνswordῥομφαίαντὴνtwo-edgedδίστομοντὴνsharpὀξεῖαν·
13I knowΟἶδαwhereποῦyou dwellκατοικεῖς,whereὅπουtheὁthroneθρόνοςτοῦof Satan [is]Σατανᾶ,andκαὶyou hold fast toκρατεῖςtheτὸnameὄνομάof Meμου,andκαὶnotοὐκyou have deniedἠρνήσωtheτὴνfaithπίστινof Meμουevenκαὶinἐνtheταῖςdaysἡμέραιςof AntipasἈντιπᾶς,theὁwitnessμάρτυςof Meμου,theὁfaithful [one]πιστόςof Meμου,whoὃςwas killedἀπεκτάνθηamongπαρ’youὑμῖν,whereὅπουὁSatanΣατανᾶςdwellsκατοικεῖ.
14ButἀλλὰI haveἔχωagainstκατὰyouσοῦa few thingsὀλίγα,becauseὅτιyou haveἔχεις[some] thereἐκεῖholdingκρατοῦνταςtheτὴνteachingδιδαχὴνof BalaamΒαλαάμ,whoὃςwould teachἐδίδασκεντῷBalakΒαλὰκto castβαλεῖνa snareσκάνδαλονbeforeἐνώπιονtheτῶνsonsυἱῶνof IsraelἸσραήλ,to eatφαγεῖνthings sacrificed to idolsεἰδωλόθυταandκαὶto commit sexual immoralityπορνεῦσαι·
15Soοὕτωςhaveἔχειςalsoκαὶyouσὺ[some] holdingκρατοῦνταςtheτὴνteachingδιδαχὴνNicolaitansΝικολαϊτῶνlikewiseὁμοίως.
16Repentμετανόησονthereforeοὖν·Ifεἰhoweverδὲnotμή,I am comingἔρχομαίto youσοιquicklyταχύ,andκαὶI will make warπολεμήσωagainstμετ’themαὐτῶνwithἐνtheτῇswordῥομφαίᾳof theτοῦmouthστόματόςof Meμου.
17The [one]ὁhavingἔχωνan earοὖςlet him hearἀκουσάτωwhatτίtheτὸSpiritπνεῦμαsaysλέγειto theταῖςchurchesἐκκλησίαις.The [one]τῷovercomingνικῶντιI will giveδώσωto himαὐτῷtheτοῦmannaμάννατοῦhaving been hiddenκεκρυμμένου,andκαὶI will giveδώσωto himαὐτῷstoneψῆφονwhiteλευκήν,andκαὶonἐπὶtheτὴνstoneψῆφονa nameὄνομαnewκαινὸνhaving been writtenγεγραμμένονwhichὃno oneοὐδεὶςhas knownοἶδενifεἰnotμὴthe [one]ὁreceiving [it]λαμβάνων.
18AndΚαὶtoτῷ[the] messengerἀγγέλῳof theτῆςinἐνThyatiraΘυατείροιςchurchἐκκλησίαςwriteγράψον·These thingsΤάδεsaysλέγειtheὁSonυἱὸςτοῦof Godθεοῦ,the [One]ὁhavingἔχωνtheτοὺςeyesὀφθαλμοὺςof Himαὐτοῦlikeὡςa flameφλόγαof fireπυρός,andκαὶtheοἱfeetπόδεςof Himαὐτοῦlikeὅμοιοιburnished bronzeχαλκολιβάνῳ·
19I knowΟἶδάyourσουτὰworksἔργα,andκαὶτὴνloveἀγάπηνandκαὶτὴνfaithπίστινandκαὶτὴνserviceδιακονίανandκαὶtheτὴνperseveranceὑπομονήνof youσου,andκαὶtheτὰworksἔργαof youσουtheτὰlatterἔσχατα[are] greaterπλείοναthan theτῶνfirstπρώτων.
20ButἀλλὰI haveἔχωagainstκατὰyouσοῦthatὅτιyou tolerateἀφεῖςtheτὴνwomanγυναῖκαJezebelἸεζάβελ,the [one]ἡcallingλέγουσαherselfἑαυτὴνa prophetessπροφῆτιν,andκαὶteachingδιδάσκειandκαὶmisleadingπλανᾷτοὺςMyἐμοὺςservantsδούλουςto commit sexual immoralityπορνεῦσαιandκαὶto eatφαγεῖνthings sacrificed to idolsεἰδωλόθυτα.
21AndκαὶI have givenἔδωκαherαὐτῇtimeχρόνονthatἵναshe might repentμετανοήσῃ,andκαὶnotοὐshe is willingθέλειto repentμετανοῆσαιofἐκtheτῆςsexual immoralityπορνείαςof herαὐτῆς.
22BeholdἰδοὺI will castβάλλωherαὐτὴνintoεἰςa sickbedκλίνην,andκαὶthoseτοὺςcommitting adulteryμοιχεύονταςwithμετ’herαὐτῆςintoεἰςtribulationθλῖψινgreatμεγάλην,ifἐὰνnotμὴrepentμετανοήσωσινofἐκtheτῶνdeedsἔργωνof herαὐτῆς·
23Andκαὶtheτὰchildrenτέκναof herαὐτῆςI will killἀποκτενῶwithἐνdeathθανάτῳ·andκαὶwill knowγνώσονταιallπᾶσαιtheαἱchurchesἐκκλησίαιthatὅτιIἐγώamεἰμιthe [One]ὁsearchingἐραυνῶνaffectionsνεφροὺςandκαὶheartsκαρδίας,andκαὶI will giveδώσωof youὑμῖνto eachἑκάστῳaccording toκατὰtheτὰworksἔργαof youὑμῶν.
24To youὑμῖνhoweverδὲI sayλέγωto [the]τοῖςrestλοιποῖςof thoseτοῖςinἐνThyatiraΘυατείροις,as many asὅσοιnotοὐκhaveἔχουσινtheτὴνteachingδιδαχὴνthisταύτην,whoοἵτινεςnotοὐκhave knownἔγνωσανtheτὰdepthsβαθέατοῦof SatanΣατανᾶ,asὡςthey sayλέγουσιν,NotοὐI will castβάλλωuponἐφ’youὑμᾶςany otherἄλλοburdenβάρος·
25Butπλὴνto whatὃyou haveἔχετεhold fastκρατήσατεuntilἄχριwhich [time]οὗἂνI might comeἥξω.
26Andκαὶthe [one]ὁovercomingνικῶνandκαὶὁkeepingτηρῶνuntilἄχρι[the] endτέλουςtheτὰworksἔργαof Meμου,I will giveδώσωto himαὐτῷauthorityἐξουσίανoverἐπὶtheτῶνnationsἐθνῶν,
27andκαὶhe will shepherdποιμανεῖthemαὐτοὺςwithἐνa rodῥάβδῳof ironσιδηρᾷasὡςtheτὰvessels [of]σκεύηtheτὰpotterκεραμικὰare broken in piecesσυντρίβεται,
28just asὡςI alsoκἀγὼhave receivedεἴληφαfromπαρὰtheτοῦFatherπατρόςof Meμου,AndκαὶI will giveδώσωto himαὐτῷtheτὸνstarἀστέρατὸνmorningπρωϊνόν.
29The [one]ὁhavingἔχωνan earοὖςlet him hearἀκουσάτωwhatτίtheτὸSpiritπνεῦμαsaysλέγειto theταῖςchurchesἐκκλησίαις.
