1AndΚαὶI sawεἶδονonἐπὶtheτὴνright handδεξιὰνof the [One]τοῦsittingκαθημένουuponἐπὶtheτοῦthroneθρόνουa scrollβιβλίονhaving been writtenγεγραμμένονinsideἔσωθενandκαὶon [the] backὄπισθεν,having been sealedκατεσφραγισμένονwith sealsσφραγῖσινsevenἑπτά.

2AndκαὶI sawεἶδονan angelἄγγελονstrongἰσχυρὸνproclaimingκηρύσσονταinἐνa voiceφωνῇloudμεγάλῃ·Who isΤίςworthyἄξιοςto openἀνοῖξαιtheτὸscrollβιβλίονandκαὶto breakλῦσαιtheτὰςsealsσφραγῖδαςof itαὐτοῦ;

3Andκαὶno oneοὐδεὶςwas ableἐδύνατοinἐντῷheavenοὐρανῷnorοὐδὲuponἐπὶtheτῆςearthγῆςnorοὐδὲunderὑποκάτωtheτῆςearthγῆςto openἀνοῖξαιtheτὸscrollβιβλίονnorοὔτεto seeβλέπεινitαὐτό.

4AndκαὶIἐγὼwas weepingἔκλαιονloudlyπολὺbecauseὅτιno oneοὐδεὶςworthyἄξιοςwas foundεὑρέθηto openἀνοῖξαιtheτὸscrollβιβλίονnorοὔτεto seeβλέπεινitαὐτό·

5Andκαὶoneεἷςofἐκtheτῶνeldersπρεσβυτέρωνsaysλέγειto meμοι·NotΜὴdo weepκλαῖε·Beholdἰδοὺhas overcomeἐνίκησενtheὁLionλέωνὁofἐκtheτῆςtribeφυλῆςof JudahἸούδα,theἡrootῥίζαof DavidΔαυίδ,to openἀνοῖξαιtheτὸscrollβιβλίονandκαὶtheτὰςsevenἑπτὰsealsσφραγῖδαςof itαὐτοῦ.

6AndΚαὶI sawεἶδονinἐν[the] midstμέσῳof theτοῦthroneθρόνουandκαὶof theτῶνfourτεσσάρωνliving creaturesζῴωνandκαὶinἐν[the] midstμέσῳof theτῶνeldersπρεσβυτέρωνa Lambἀρνίονstandingἑστηκὸςasὡςhaving been slainἐσφαγμένον,havingἔχωνhornsκέραταsevenἑπτὰandκαὶeyesὀφθαλμοὺςsevenἑπτά,whichοἵareεἰσινtheτὰsevenἑπτὰSpiritsπνεύματατοῦof Godθεοῦ,having been sent outἀπεσταλμένοιintoεἰςallπᾶσανtheτὴνearthγῆν.

7AndκαὶHe cameἦλθενandκαὶtook [it]εἴληφενout ofἐκtheτῆςright handδεξιᾶςof the [One]τοῦsittingκαθημένουonἐπὶtheτοῦthroneθρόνου.

8AndκαὶwhenὅτεHe had takenἔλαβενtheτὸscrollβιβλίον,theτὰfourτέσσαραliving creaturesζῷαandκαὶtheοἱtwentyεἴκοσιfourτέσσαρεςeldersπρεσβύτεροιfell downἔπεσανbeforeἐνώπιονtheτοῦLambἀρνίου,havingἔχοντεςeachἕκαστοςa harpκιθάρανandκαὶbowlsφιάλαςgoldenχρυσᾶςbeing fullγεμούσαςof incensesθυμιαμάτων,whichαἵareεἰσινtheαἱprayersπροσευχαὶof theτῶνsaintsἁγίων·

9Andκαὶthey are singingᾄδουσινa songᾠδὴνnewκαινὴνsayingλέγοντες·WorthyἌξιοςare Youεἶto takeλαβεῖνtheτὸscrollβιβλίονandκαὶto openἀνοῖξαιtheτὰςsealsσφραγῖδαςof itαὐτοῦ,becauseὅτιYou were slainἐσφάγηςandκαὶYou purchasedἠγόρασαςτῷto Godθεῷbyἐνtheτῷbloodαἵματίof Youσουout ofἐκeveryπάσηςtribeφυλῆςandκαὶtongueγλώσσηςandκαὶpeopleλαοῦandκαὶnationἔθνους,

10andκαὶYou have madeἐποίησαςthemαὐτοὺςto theτῷGodθεῷof usἡμῶνa kingdomβασιλείανandκαὶpriestsἱερεῖς,andκαὶwe shall reignβασιλεύουσινuponἐπὶtheτῆςearthγῆς.

11AndΚαὶI lookedεἶδον,andκαὶI heardἤκουσα[the] voiceφωνὴνof angelsἀγγέλωνmanyπολλῶνaroundκύκλῳtheτοῦthroneθρόνουandκαὶof theτῶνliving creaturesζῴωνandκαὶof theτῶνeldersπρεσβυτέρων,andκαὶwasἦνtheὁnumberἀριθμὸςof themαὐτῶνmyriadsμυριάδεςof myriadsμυριάδωνandκαὶthousandsχιλιάδεςof thousandsχιλιάδων,

12sayingλέγοντεςin a voiceφωνῇloudμεγάλῃ·worthyἌξιόνisἐστινtheτὸLambἀρνίοντὸhaving been slainἐσφαγμένονto receiveλαβεῖνtheτὴνpowerδύναμινandκαὶrichesπλοῦτονandκαὶwisdomσοφίανandκαὶstrengthἰσχὺνandκαὶhonorτιμὴνandκαὶgloryδόξανandκαὶblessingεὐλογίαν.

13Andκαὶeveryπᾶνcreatureκτίσμαwhichὃinἐντῷheavenοὐρανῷandκαὶuponἐπὶtheτῆςearthγῆςandκαὶunderὑποκάτωtheτῆςearthγῆςandκαὶonἐπὶtheτῆςseaθαλάσσης,andκαὶτὰinἐνthemαὐτοῖςeverythingπάντα,I heardἤκουσαsayingλέγοντας·To the [One]Τῷsittingκαθημένῳonἐπὶtheτῷthroneθρόνῳandκαὶto theτῷLambἀρνίῳἡblessingεὐλογίαandκαὶἡhonorτιμὴandκαὶἡgloryδόξαandκαὶτὸmightκράτοςtoεἰςtheτοὺςagesαἰῶναςof theτῶνagesαἰώνων.

14Andκαὶtheτὰfourτέσσαραliving creaturesζῷαkept sayingἔλεγον·AmenἈμήν.Andκαὶtheοἱeldersπρεσβύτεροιfell downἔπεσανandκαὶworshipedπροσεκύνησαν.
