Ephesians 6

1ΤὰChildrenτέκνα,obeyὑπακούετεtheτοῖςparentsγονεῦσινof youὑμῶνinἐν[the] Lordκυρίῳ,thisτοῦτοforγάρisἐστινrightδίκαιον·

2HonorτίμαtheτὸνFatherπατέραof youσουandκαὶτὴνmotherμητέρα,whichἥτιςisἐστὶν[the] commandmentἐντολὴfirstπρώτηwithἐνa promiseἐπαγγελίᾳ,

3thatἵναwellεὖwith youσοιit may beγένηταιandκαὶyou will beἔσῃlong-livedμακροχρόνιοςuponἐπὶtheτῆςearthγῆς.

4AndΚαὶοἱfathersπατέρες,notμὴprovokeπαροργίζετεtheτὰchildrenτέκναof youὑμῶν,butἀλλὰbring upἐκτρέφετεthemαὐτὰinἐν[the] disciplineπαιδείᾳandκαὶadmonitionνουθεσίᾳof [the] Lordκυρίου.

5ΟἱSlavesδοῦλοι,obeyὑπακούετεtheτοῖςaccording toκατὰfleshσάρκαmastersκυρίοιςwithμετὰfearφόβουandκαὶtremblingτρόμουinἐνsincerityἁπλότητιof theτῆςheartκαρδίαςof youὑμῶνasὡςtoτῷChristΧριστῷ,

6notμὴwithκατ’eye-serviceὀφθαλμοδουλίανasὡςmen-pleasersἀνθρωπάρεσκοιbutἀλλ’asὡςservants ofδοῦλοιChristΧριστοῦdoingποιοῦντεςtheτὸwillθέληματοῦof Godθεοῦ,fromἐκ[the] heartψυχῆς

7withμετ’good willεὐνοίαςrendering serviceδουλεύοντες,asὡςto theτῷLordκυρίῳandκαὶnotοὐκto menἀνθρώποις,

8knowingεἰδότεςthatὅτιeach oneἕκαστος,whateverὃ*ἂνhe might have doneποιήσῃgoodἀγαθόν,thisτοῦτοhe will receive [back]κομίσεταιfromπαρὰ[the] Lordκυρίου,whetherεἴτεslaveδοῦλοςorεἴτεfreeἐλεύθερος.

9AndΚαὶοἱmastersκύριοι,the same thingsτὰthemαὐτὰdoποιεῖτεtowardπρὸςthemαὐτούς,giving upἀνιέντεςtheτὴνthreateningἀπειλήν,knowingεἰδότεςthatὅτιalsoκαὶof themαὐτῶνandκαὶof youὑμῶνtheὁmasterκύριόςisἐστινinἐν[the] heavensοὐρανοῖς,andκαὶpartialityπροσωπολημψίαnotοὐκthere isἔστινwithπαρ’Himαὐτῷ.

10ΤοῦHenceforthλοιποῦbe empoweredἐνδυναμοῦσθεinἐν[the] Lordκυρίῳandκαὶinἐνtheτῷstrengthκράτειof theτῆςmightἰσχύοςof Himαὐτοῦ.

11Put onἐνδύσασθεtheτὴνcomplete armorπανοπλίαντοῦof Godθεοῦforπρὸςτὸto be ableδύνασθαιyouὑμᾶςto standστῆναιagainstπρὸςtheτὰςschemesμεθοδείαςof theτοῦdevilδιαβόλου·

12becauseὅτιnotοὐκisἔστινto usἡμῖνtheἡwrestlingπάληagainstπρὸςbloodαἷμαandκαὶfleshσάρκα,butἀλλὰagainstπρὸςtheτὰςrulersἀρχάς,againstπρὸςtheτὰςauthoritiesἐξουσίας,againstπρὸςtheτοὺςcosmic powersκοσμοκράτοραςof theτοῦdarknessσκότουςthisτούτου,againstπρὸςtheτὰspiritual [forces]πνευματικὰτῆςof evilπονηρίαςinἐνtheτοῖςheavenly realmsἐπουρανίοις.

13Because ofδιὰthisτοῦτοtake upἀναλάβετεtheτὴνcomplete armorπανοπλίαντοῦof Godθεοῦ,so thatἵναyou may be ableδυνηθῆτεto withstandἀντιστῆναιinἐνtheτῇdayἡμέρᾳτῇevilπονηρᾷandκαὶall thingsἅπανταhaving doneκατεργασάμενοιto standστῆναι.

14Standστῆτεthereforeοὖνhaving girdedπεριζωσάμενοιtheτὴνloinsὀσφὺνof youὑμῶνwithἐνtruthἀληθείᾳ,andκαὶhaving put onἐνδυσάμενοιtheτὸνbreastplateθώρακατῆςof righteousnessδικαιοσύνης,

15andκαὶhaving shodὑποδησάμενοιtheτοὺςfeetπόδαςwithἐν[the] readinessἑτοιμασίᾳof theτοῦgospelεὐαγγελίουτῆςof peaceεἰρήνης,

16besidesἐνallπᾶσινhaving taken upἀναλαβόντεςtheτὸνshieldθυρεὸντῆςof faithπίστεως,withἐνwhichᾧyou will be ableδυνήσεσθεallπάνταtheτὰarrowsβέληof theτοῦevil oneπονηροῦflamingπεπυρωμέναto quenchσβέσαι·

17Andκαὶtheτὴνhelmetπερικεφαλαίαντοῦof salvationσωτηρίουtakeδέξασθε,andκαὶtheτὴνswordμάχαιρανof theτοῦSpiritπνεύματος,whichὅisἐστιν[the] wordῥῆμαof Godθεοῦ,

18throughδιὰallπάσηςprayerπροσευχῆςandκαὶsupplicationδεήσεως,prayingπροσευχόμενοιinἐνeveryπαντὶseasonκαιρῷinἐν[the] Spiritπνεύματι,andκαὶuntoεἰςthis very thingαὐτὸwatchingἀγρυπνοῦντεςwithἐνallπάσῃperseveranceπροσκαρτερήσειandκαὶsupplicationδεήσειforπερὶallπάντωντῶνsaintsἁγίων,

19and alsoκαὶforὑπὲρmeἐμοῦ,thatἵναto meμοιmay be givenδοθῇdivine utteranceλόγοςinἐν[the] openingἀνοίξειof theτοῦmouthστόματόςof meμου,withἐνboldnessπαρρησίᾳto make knownγνωρίσαιtheτὸmysteryμυστήριονof theτοῦgospelεὐαγγελίου

20forὑπὲρwhichοὗI am an ambassadorπρεσβεύωinἐνa chainἁλύσει,thatἵναinἐνitαὐτῷI may be boldπαρρησιάσωμαιasὡςit behoovesδεῖmeμεto speakλαλῆσαι.

21ThatἽναnowδὲmay knowεἰδῆτεalsoκαὶyouὑμεῖςthe thingsτὰconcerningκατ’meἐμέ,whatτίI am doingπράσσω,all thingsπάνταwill make knownγνωρίσειto youὑμῖνTychicusΤυχικὸςtheὁbelovedἀγαπητὸςbrotherἀδελφὸςandκαὶfaithfulπιστὸςservantδιάκονοςinἐν[the] Lordκυρίῳ,

22whomὃνI have sentἔπεμψαtoπρὸςyouὑμᾶςforεἰςthis veryαὐτὸpurposeτοῦτοthatἵναyou may knowγνῶτεthe thingsτὰconcerningπερὶusἡμῶνandκαὶhe may encourageπαρακαλέσῃtheτὰςheartsκαρδίαςof youὑμῶν.

23PeaceΕἰρήνηto theτοῖςbrothersἀδελφοῖςandκαὶloveἀγάπηwithμετὰfaithπίστεωςfromἀπὸGodθεοῦ[the] Fatherπατρὸςandκαὶ[the] LordκυρίουJesusἸησοῦChristΧριστοῦ.

24ἡGraceχάρις[be] withμετὰallπάντωνthoseτῶνlovingἀγαπώντωνtheτὸνLordκύριονof usἡμῶνJesusἸησοῦνChristΧριστὸνinἐνincorruptibilityἀφθαρσίᾳ.
