1AndΚαὶgoing forthἐκπορευομένουof Himαὐτοῦout ofἐκtheτοῦtempleἱεροῦsaysλέγειto Himαὐτῷoneεἷςof theτῶνdisciplesμαθητῶνof Himαὐτοῦ·TeacherΔιδάσκαλε,beholdἴδεwhatποταποὶstonesλίθοιandκαὶwhatποταπαὶbuildingsοἰκοδομαί.
2AndκαὶὁJesusἸησοῦςsaidεἶπενto himαὐτῷ·See youΒλέπειςtheseταύταςτὰςgreatμεγάλαςbuildingsοἰκοδομάς;Noοὐnotμὴshall be leftἀφεθῇhereὧδεstoneλίθοςuponἐπὶstoneλίθονwhichὃςnoοὐnotμὴshall be thrown downκαταλυθῇ.
3AndΚαὶsittingκαθημένουof HimαὐτοῦuponεἰςtheτὸMountὌροςτῶνof OlivesἘλαιῶνoppositeκατέναντιtheτοῦtempleἱεροῦaskedἐπηρώταHimαὐτὸνinκατ’privateἰδίανPeterΠέτροςandκαὶJamesἸάκωβοςandκαὶJohnἸωάννηςandκαὶAndrewἈνδρέας·
4TellΕἰπὸνusἡμῖνwhenπότεthese thingsταῦταwill beἔσται,Andκαὶwhat [will be]τίtheτὸsignσημεῖονwhenὅτανare goingμέλλῃthese thingsταῦταto be accomplishedσυντελεῖσθαιallπάντα.
5ὁAndδὲJesusἸησοῦςbeganἤρξατοto sayλέγεινto themαὐτοῖς·Take heedΒλέπετεlestμήanyoneτιςyouὑμᾶςmisleadπλανήσῃ·
6Manyπολλοὶwill comeἐλεύσονταιinἐπὶtheτῷnameὀνόματίof MeμουsayingλέγοντεςὅτιIἘγώam [He]εἰμι,andκαὶmanyπολλοὺςthey will misleadπλανήσουσιν.
7Whenὅτανthenδὲyou shall hear ofἀκούσητεwarsπολέμουςandκαὶrumorsἀκοὰςof warsπολέμων,notμὴbe disturbedθροεῖσθε·it mustδεῖcome to passγενέσθαι,butἀλλ’not yet [is]οὔπωtheτὸendτέλος.
8Will rise upἐγερθήσεταιforγὰρnationἔθνοςagainstἐπ’nationἔθνοςandκαὶkingdomβασιλείαagainstἐπὶkingdomβασιλείαν,There will beἔσονταιearthquakesσεισμοὶthroughoutκατὰplacesτόπους,there will beἔσονταιfaminesλιμοί·[The] beginningἀρχὴof birth pains [are]ὠδίνωνtheseταῦτα.
9Take heedβλέπετεhoweverδὲyouὑμεῖςto yourselvesἑαυτούς·they will betrayπαραδώσουσινyouὑμᾶςtoεἰςcourtsσυνέδριαandκαὶinεἰςsynagoguesσυναγωγὰςyou will be beatenδαρήσεσθεandκαὶbeforeἐπὶgovernorsἡγεμόνωνandκαὶkingsβασιλέωνyou will standσταθήσεσθεbecauseἕνεκενof Meἐμοῦforεἰςa testimonyμαρτύριονto themαὐτοῖς.
10Andκαὶtoεἰςallπάνταtheτὰnationsἔθνηfirstπρῶτονit behoovesδεῖto proclaimκηρυχθῆναιtheτὸgospelεὐαγγέλιον.
11Andκαὶwhenὅτανthey might lead awayἄγωσινyouὑμᾶςdelivering [you] upπαραδιδόντες,notμὴbe anxious beforehandπρομεριμνᾶτεwhatτίyou should sayλαλήσητε,butἀλλ’whateverὃifἐὰνmight be givenδοθῇto youὑμῖνinἐνthatἐκείνῃτῇhourὥρᾳthatτοῦτοspeakλαλεῖτε,notοὐforγάρareἐστεyouὑμεῖςthoseοἱspeakingλαλοῦντεςbutἀλλὰtheτὸSpiritπνεῦματὸHolyἅγιον.
12Andκαὶwill deliver upπαραδώσειbrotherἀδελφὸςbrotherἀδελφὸνtoεἰςdeathθάνατονandκαὶfatherπατὴρchildτέκνον,andκαὶwill rise upἐπαναστήσονταιchildrenτέκναagainstἐπὶparentsγονεῖςandκαὶwill put to deathθανατώσουσινthemαὐτούς·
13Andκαὶyou will beἔσεσθεhatedμισούμενοιbyὑπὸallπάντωνon account ofδιὰtheτὸnameὄνομάof Meμου.the [one]ὁhoweverδὲhaving enduredὑπομείναςtoεἰς[the] endτέλοςheοὗτοςwill be savedσωθήσεται.
14WhenὍτανthenδὲyou seeἴδητεtheτὸabominationβδέλυγμαof theτῆςdesolationἐρημώσεωςstandingἑστηκόταwhereὅπουnotοὐit shouldδεῖ,the [one]ὁreadingἀναγινώσκωνlet him understandνοείτω,thenτότεthoseοἱinἐντῇJudeaἸουδαίᾳlet them fleeφευγέτωσανtoεἰςtheτὰmountainsὄρη,
15the [one]ὁuponἐπὶtheτοῦhousetopδώματοςnotμὴlet him come downκαταβάτωnorμηδὲgo inεἰσελθάτωanythingτιto takeἆραιout ofἐκtheτῆςhouseοἰκίαςof himαὐτοῦ,
16andκαὶthe [one]ὁinεἰςtheτὸνfieldἀγρὸνnotμὴlet him returnἐπιστρεψάτωtoεἰςthe thingsτὰbehindὀπίσωto takeἆραιtheτὸclothingἱμάτιονof himαὐτοῦ.
17Woeοὐαὶthenδὲto thoseταῖςinἐνwombγαστρὶhavingἐχούσαιςandκαὶto the [ones]ταῖςnursing infantsθηλαζούσαιςinἐνthoseἐκείναιςταῖςdaysἡμέραις.
18Prayπροσεύχεσθεthenδὲthat itἵναnotμὴmight beγένηταιin winterχειμῶνος·
19will be [in]ἔσονταιforγὰρtheαἱdaysἡμέραιthoseἐκεῖναιtribulationθλῖψιςsuch asοἵαneverοὐhas beenγέγονενthe likeτοιαύτηfrom [the]ἀπ’beginningἀρχῆςof creationκτίσεωςwhichἣνcreatedἔκτισενὁGodθεὸςuntilἕωςτοῦnowνῦνandκαὶneverοὐnotμὴshall beγένηται.
20Andκαὶifεἰnotμὴhad shortenedἐκολόβωσεν[the] Lordκύριοςtheτὰςdaysἡμέρας,noοὐκἂνthere would have been savedἐσώθηanyπᾶσαfleshσάρξ.butἀλλὰon account ofδιὰtheτοὺςelectἐκλεκτοὺςwhomοὓςHe choseἐξελέξατοHe has shortenedἐκολόβωσενtheτὰςdaysἡμέρας.
21Andκαὶthenτότεifἐάνanyoneτιςto youὑμῖνsaysεἴπῃ·BeholdἼδεhere [is]ὧδεtheὁChristχριστός,BeholdἼδεthereἐκεῖ,notμὴyou shall believe [it]πιστεύετε·
22There will ariseἐγερθήσονταιforγὰρfalse Christsψευδόχριστοιandκαὶfalse prophetsψευδοπροφῆταιandκαὶperformδώσουσινsignsσημεῖαandκαὶwondersτέραταso asπρὸςτὸto deceiveἀποπλανᾶνifεἰpossibleδυνατὸνtheτοὺςelectἐκλεκτούς·
23Youὑμεῖςhoweverδὲtake heedβλέπετε·I have foretoldπροείρηκαto youὑμῖνall thingsπάντα.
24ButἈλλὰinἐνthoseἐκείναιςταῖςdaysἡμέραιςafterμετὰtheτὴνtribulationθλῖψινthoseἐκείνηνTheὁsunἥλιοςwill be darkenedσκοτισθήσεται,andκαὶtheἡmoonσελήνηnotοὐwill giveδώσειtheτὸlightφέγγοςof itαὐτῆς,
25andκαὶtheοἱstarsἀστέρεςwill beἔσονταιout ofἐκtheτοῦheavenοὐρανοῦfallingπίπτοντες,andκαὶtheαἱpowersδυνάμειςthat [are]αἱinἐνtheτοῖςheavensοὐρανοῖςwill be shakenσαλευθήσονται.
26Andκαὶthenτότεwill they seeὄψονταιtheτὸνSonυἱὸντοῦof Manἀνθρώπουcomingἐρχόμενονinἐν[the] cloudsνεφέλαιςwithμετὰpowerδυνάμεωςgreatπολλῆςandκαὶgloryδόξης·
27AndκαὶthenτότεHe will sendἀποστελεῖtheτοὺςangelsἀγγέλουςandκαὶwill gather togetherἐπισυνάξειtheτοὺςelectἐκλεκτοὺςfromἐκtheτῶνfourτεσσάρωνwindsἀνέμωνfrom [the]ἀπ’endἄκρουof earthγῆςto [the]ἕωςendἄκρουof heavenοὐρανοῦ.
28OfἈπὸnowδὲtheτῆςfig treeσυκῆςlearnμάθετεtheτὴνparableπαραβολήν·Whenὅτανalreadyἤδηtheὁbranchκλάδοςof itαὐτῆςtenderἁπαλὸςhas becomeγένηταιandκαὶit puts forthἐκφύῃtheτὰleavesφύλλα,you knowγινώσκετεthatὅτιnearἐγγὺςtheτὸsummerθέροςisἐστίν·
29Soοὕτωςalsoκαὶyouὑμεῖς,whenὅτανyou seeἴδητεthese thingsταῦταcoming to passγινόμενα,knowγινώσκετεthatὅτιnearἐγγύςHe isἐστινat [the]ἐπὶdoorsθύραις.
30TrulyἀμὴνI sayλέγωto youὑμῖνthatὅτιnoοὐnotμὴwill have passed awayπαρέλθῃtheἡgenerationγενεὰthisαὕτηuntilμέχριςthatοὗthese thingsταῦταallπάνταshall have taken placeγένηται.
31Theὁheavenοὐρανὸςandκαὶtheἡearthγῆwill pass awayπαρελεύσονται,οἱbutδὲthe wordsλόγοιof Meμουin no wayοὐ*μὴwill pass awayπαρελεύσονται.
32ConcerningΠερὶnowδὲtheτῆςdayἡμέραςthatἐκείνηςorἢtheτῆςhourὥραςno oneοὐδεὶςknowsοἶδεν,not evenοὐδὲtheοἱangelsἄγγελοιinἐνheavenοὐρανῷnorοὐδὲtheὁSonυἱός,ifεἰnotμὴtheὁFatherπατήρ.
33Take heedβλέπετεwatchἀγρυπνεῖτε,notοὐκyou knowοἴδατεforγὰρwhenπότεtheὁtimeκαιρόςisἐστιν·
34[It is] likeὡςa manἄνθρωποςgoing on a journeyἀπόδημοςhaving leftἀφεὶςtheτὴνhouseοἰκίανof himαὐτοῦandκαὶhaving givenδοὺςtheτοῖςservantsδούλοιςof himαὐτοῦτὴνauthorityἐξουσίαν,to each oneἑκάστῳtheτὸworkἔργονof himαὐτοῦ,Andκαὶtheτῷdoorkeeperθυρωρῷhe commandedἐνετείλατοthatἵναhe should keep watchγρηγορῇ.
35Watchγρηγορεῖτεthereforeοὖν,notοὐκyou knowοἴδατεforγὰρwhenπότεtheὁmasterκύριοςof theτῆςhouseοἰκίαςcomesἔρχεται,orἢat eveningὀψὲorἢat midnightμεσονύκτιονorἢwhen the rooster crowsἀλεκτοροφωνίαςorἢmorningπρωΐ,
36lestμὴhaving comeἐλθὼνsuddenlyἐξαίφνηςhe should findεὕρῃyouὑμᾶςsleepingκαθεύδοντας·
37Whatὃnowδὲto youὑμῖνI sayλέγωto allπᾶσινI sayλέγω·Watchγρηγορεῖτε.
